Roberts joined ORE Catpult in 2015 after succesfully defending his PhD in floating wind. He currently holds the position of Team Lead - Turbines, looking after engineers working on robotics, O&M and balance of plant solutions. In adddition to his team lead role, Roberts has strong interest and is very active in floating wind. He led the Catapult’s involved in the LIFES50+ project , as well as number of other research and commercial projects in floating wind. Roberts is Technical Lead for the Floating Offshore Wind Centre of Excellence - an industry led joint industry project to accelerate development of floating wind.
