Challenges of floating offshore wind turbines

The STEP4WIND team was heavily present at the international Torque2024 conference taking place in Florence in May 2024.

The STEP4WIND team was heavily present at the international Wind Energy Science Conference taking place in Glasgow in May 2023.

Our PhDs had an amazing opportunity to go offshore and navigate around the Kincardine floating wind farm.

The STEP4WIND researchers participated in the international conference Torque2022 organized by TU Delft on 1-3 June 2022.

On 31 May 2022, our project coordinator, Axelle Viré, talked about floating wind energy in an interview published online and in paper by De Telegraph, the most widely read national newspaper in The Netherlands.

The small-scale (floating) wind turbines of OffshoreWind4Kids have arrived at TU Delft and will be used in many dissemination activities in the coming months. Stay tuned!
