DTU Wind Energy is a leading research organization for wind energy in Denmark with over 200 staff and covering all aspect of wind energy from atmospheric science to design to materials to grid integration and markets.

European Academy for Wind Energy

The EAWE is the main scientific society in wind energy research in the world. The Academy currently has over 40 members from 15 countries, including most major universities and research institutes with significant activities in this field. Its mission is to advance the science of wind energy and to foster the education in its relevant disciplines. Thus, it organises some of the main scientific events in wind energy, namely “The Science of Making Torque from Wind?

International Network on Offshore Renewable Energy

INORE is an international association of postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-stage professionals, working in the fields of offshore wind, wave, tidal, and ocean thermal energy conversion. It was founded in 2006 and is comprised of a 1400-member network spanning technical, social, economic, and environmental research fields. Its vision is to support the development of early-career researchers.
